Award winning photography with an artistic vision and a love of not only what is but what can be.
Photography is more than nice equipment, it is a commitment to art and the people that have trusted you to preserve their memories. It takes more than a great camera..cameras don't make photographers anymore than an airplane makes a pilot. It is skill, hours and hours of behind the scenes work but it is never boring.
I am still a bit nervous at every wedding. While I am confident in my work, I also know that I am holding precious memories in my hands. It keeps me on my toes and constantly thinking about the best lighting and moments that will take the client right back to time in their life.
I love all aspects of photography..even the sleepless nights I spend editing and there are many of those. I adore the creative side of light can change the complete look of something very simple in to something breathtaking.
When working with people, it is especially inspiring to work with those who have a sense of humor, that aren't afraid to be themselves, comfortable sometimes to be a little silly and love being who they are! It is great when people get relaxed enough to enjoy the shoot and have fun with it!
I work with a partner during weddings and we are very different. Different types of personalities, different styles of photography. We are a prime example of how opposites complement each other. We are as different as night and day..I'm a little bit country and he's a little bit rock and roll. He plays electric guitar and I'm learning to play the banjo. He uses Nikon equipment and I use Canon. He is more of a traditionalist in photography and I am the candid, photo journalistic photographer. The differences when combined result in variety and perfectly blended photography. .

Working together we are each other's worst critics but it keeps the work fresh. We are constantly challenged by the other and even a bit competitive and it works. Our sense of humor and commitment to photography keeps us growing and reminds us that it is true that "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away."

My promise to you is to preserve the moments that take your breath away.
